I overheard a woman once say, “yes, we’re going to get flowers for the house. We always do on Fridays. Every home should have flowers. Obviously.”

I was a skeptic for years. Flowers die. Flowers are ephemeral. Flowers are… well, they’re just pretty. And that’s it. They’re pretty. They bring you a bit of life, a bit of color and a bit of joy. So yeah. You deserve flowers. You deserve all the joy.
